We have acquired this tobiano stallion from Valley View Walkers near Polson, Montana. We are very impressed with his quiet disposition and good manners especially when combined with his well muscled and framed conformation. He is in training to be ridden and for an older horse is taking to it very well. He has thrown 12 foals to date, all of which display vibrant color. He will be standing at stud for the 2008 breeding season so book your mares early.
He is presently in training and is praised by his trainer as very smooth, moves out nicely with lots of gears to his walk, is a willing student, and is progressing rapidly in his schooling. He will definitely prove his name in the show ring as well as on the trail.
He is a favorite of the manager due to his people oriented disposition. He is a kind, gentle stallion and works quietly with a loose lead when worked from the ground. Boogie's Colt (2007) is the first of his foals born at Standing Rock Ranch and shows his ability to throw color. He arrived a little late in the 2007 breeding season, but we are expecting several colorful foals from our brood mares.
