Need to get somewhere and you don't have all day? Sonny is your partner. He is an exceptional trail horse with a kind disposition and great personality. He is people oriented and a cooperator with a good mind. He is dependable, but spirited, and works best with an intermediate to advanced rider. He works well on his own or with a group.
Sonny (AERC # H41897) has competed and finished 100 miles in four competitions to date. His first ride he placed 18th out of a field of 38, his second had him placed 5th, his 3rd competition he placed 2nd, and a 6th place finish at Antelope Butte. During the two middle rides he showed for best condition. Sonny has an additional gear called the rack and Cindy, his trainer, loves to flat fly down the trail in total comfort. He not only is a stiff competitor but he is oh so easy on his rider.
Although he has the stamina and speed to be the best, he is also a team player and enjoys hanging with a riding group. This is the trainer's favorite ride.
Sonny has a new home in Worland Wyoming. He will be cruising the Big Horn Mountains during the fall looking for game with his new owner. During the summer we wouldn't be too surprised to find him with his old stable mates, Joey and Senator, on the endurance circuit.
